How to see the error code

Most split ACs show the code on the indoor unit display (e.g. E6, CH05). Some models only blink a light — count the blinks, or press the remote’s check/diagnosis button if your manual mentions one.

How to reset

Switch the AC off with the remote
Turn off the AC’s MCB or wall switch and wait 5–10 minutes
Switch on again and start in cooling mode at 24–26 °C
